From Prompt to Production:Building Reliable Workflows and Agents with AI Coding Assistants

Modern business processes rarely happen in a single application. They coordinate APIs, services, databases, people, and increasingly, AI models. Each step must happen in the right order, failures must be handled, and the entire process must remain visible from beginning to end. This is the role of workflow orchestration.

Conductor is an open-source orchestration platform for building and running these multi-step processes reliably. It tracks every step, manages state, handles failures and retries, and provides visibility into what happened during an execution.

Conductor Skills make this platform knowledge available to AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot. With Skills installed, developers can describe a business process in natural language and have their coding assistant help translate it into a working Conductor workflow—without first becoming an expert in every Conductor API, task type, or configuration option.

In this introductory, hands-on webinar, we’ll take a business process from idea to execution. We’ll show how an AI coding assistant uses Conductor Skills to model the process, connect its steps, add failure handling, run the workflow, and inspect the results.

We’ll then introduce AI-powered decisions, tool calls, dynamic routing, feedback loops, and human approvals to demonstrate how a traditional business process can evolve into an agentic workflow.

No previous experience with Conductor or workflow orchestration is required.
