Great news! We are excited to share that our documentation site has undergone a significant revamp. Our team has put in countless hours of hard work and collaboration to bring you new and enhanced content to help you better understand and utilize our product. We hope that this new documentation will help you learn more about Orkes Conductor and how it can be applied to solve your needs!

We recently introduced a new add-on for creating task definitions using UI forms. In the latest Orkes Conductor version, we doubled down on that and have further improved this feature by enhancing its visual appearance and making it more user-friendly. Try it out today in the Orkes Conductor Playground!

We were excited to be part of Microsoft Reactor in April 2023, where our CTOs Viren & Boney delivered a series of talks on Building resilient distributed applications in the cloud in the “Cloud Native: Microservices & API” track.
The first talk of the series, delivered by Viren, discussed the complexities of distributed monoliths and how they can be overcome by leveraging an eventing system with an orchestrator like Conductor.

Boney delivered the second talk on building the Orkes SaaS platform using Orkes Conductor. The talk covered various concepts, such as how Orkes Conductor orchestrated services spanning languages, frameworks & clouds, how it boosts your team’s velocity, and how it can be utilized to build a SaaS platform.

The final talk covered the strategies for building distributed, stateful, resilient applications in a hybrid cloud environment at scale using Conductor. It was an informative session from Viren that also delved into the Conductor architecture and its native error-handling capabilities.

Recently Orkes participated in Pune FOSS, a gathering of free open-source software developers, enthusiasts, and communities. Organized by Keploy, Pune FOSS was a platform to learn and inspire from software developers, policymakers, communities, and enthusiasts. Our team delivered an insightful talk on the concepts of monoliths and microservices and introduced workflow orchestration using Conductor.

GDSC WOW is a series of events across different Indian cities focused on providing networking opportunities for undergraduate/graduate students. We marked our presence at two events, one of which was in Pune on April 16, 2023. Our team delivered an insightful talk on the revolutionary approach to building applications using microservices.
Bengaluru, India
Our first in-person event of the year was held at Google RMZ Infinity, Bengaluru, on Apr 30 in collaboration with Google Developers. It was a day of networking and learning for all Conductor enthusiasts in India. We were privileged to have Joinal Ahmed from Google & Bimal Gupta from Cimpress as our speakers. Our founding engineer at Orkes, Manan Bhatt, delivered a session on “Building Event Driven Distributed Applications with Conductor”.
Our team at Orkes was highly overwhelmed with the participation and interactions we had at our first in-person meetup. We are looking forward to having more meetups in the coming months. Stay tuned!!!

The Orkes team will be presenting at the upcoming Microsoft Build event in Seattle, WA, from May 23-25, 2023. Our CTO, Viren Baraiya, will deliver a session on Build Modern Applications at Lightning Speed with Orkes.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have been featured on Microsoft for Startups, where our CEO Jeu Goerge shared his key takeaways on transforming from a Product Engineer to CEO.
The a16z blog highlighted the current state of transactional stacks, pointing to Orkes Conductor as a crucial framework in modern transactional backends.
Conductor was also featured in VMWare’s Techzone blog, which explains how VMWare has leveraged Netflix Conductor to build their freestyle automation platform, Workspace ONE Intelligence.
