In collaboration with API Days London, we organized an in-person meetup in London on Sep 13, 2023. The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Ben Pirt from Made Tech and Viren Baraiya & Olivier Poupeney from Orkes.
The meetup commenced with Ben’s talk, where he shared insights on how effectively they used Conductor to orchestrate the processes within the Bichard 7 project, a crucial initiative for the Criminal Justice Secure Exchange, UK. It was followed by Viren’s talk that delved into the complexities of scaling event-driven applications in a cloud environment.
The talks and discussions were related to real-world scalable app development, AI Orchestration, and the seamless integration of Conductor for intelligent and automated decision-making within everyday business operations.
Sep 26, 2023: Virtual
Co-organized by Orkes and Netflix Engineering, the Conductor Meetup for Q3 was hosted virtually on Sep 26, 2023. We were privileged to have Ben Pirt from Made Tech, Albert Wong from CelerData, Viren Baraiya, and Olivier Poupeney from Orkes as featured speakers.
The meetup kicked off with Ben’s talk focusing on their use of Conductor for workflow orchestration within the Ministry of Justice, UK.
It was followed by Viren’s talk on exclusive AI Orchestration through Orkes Conductor. Albert then took the stage to discuss how they harness Conductor for their DevRel pipeline activities.
Finally, the meetup concluded with an open Q&A session skillfully moderated by Olivier.
Sep 29, 2023: Chattisgarh, India
September concluded with an exhilarating Hackathon, a collaborative effort with OpinHacks, known as the James Bond of hackathons. This thrilling 36-hour Conductor hacking event commenced on September 29, 2023, in Chhattisgarh, India.
With a wide range of themes spanning Finance to AI/ML, this hackathon presents an exceptional opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in learning and coding on groundbreaking tech solutions.
The Orkes team conducted pre-hack sessions to prepare participants, offering valuable insights into Conductor. These informative sessions were led by the following Orkes Team: Olivier Poupeney, Head of DevRel; Riza Farheen, Developer Advocate; and Gulam Mohiuddeen, Software Engineer. Additionally, we were honored to have Saksham Solanki and Gulam as in-person mentors at the event.
